The original was colored live on Twitch.tv/HR_Johnson for the Pinuptober 2025 challenge prompt - grim reaper. I incorporated various representations of ruminations on life and death... past, present, future and how we experience it all... the ultimate question of what happens when we go... The only certainty is that kings and paupers, those who inflict horror and those who endure it, all will pass out of this existence.
 
May we all strive to leave this place a little better for us having been here before we go.   
 
The original piece is 2"x7" alcohol and India ink markers with a touch of gel pen on 65lb cardstock. You can see the marker bleed through the back side. 
 
Print reproductions are 2"x7" on 120lb cardstock.
