Created live over several Twitch Streams during Faebruary 2026. This piece is a rumination on metaphorical Eve leaving the garden and how knowledge is power. It's full of little details. She is older because wisdom can take time. The little owl has long been a symbol of wisdom. The spine of the book is adorned with a key that contains a pearl of wisdom. The tree, as so many trees do, is holding it's own secrets.
 
The apple has two bites taken from it instead of just one as it is frequently depicted because it wasn't just Eve that partook of it. Far too many use this story as a cudgel for keeping women from knowledge and power.
 
Her wings and clothes are lined with a golden shimmer as a nod to the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. It's known as Kintsugi or Kintsukuroi and encourages one to embrace imperfections. The repaired piece is more valuable for having been broken. 
 
Eve is not going back. She's outside the confines of the garden wall now. She is free.
 
The roses are a nod to The White Rose Society. "We will not be silent. We are your bad conscience. The White Rose will not leave you in peace!"
