This post is going to be a little different than my usual monthly recap.
I pour oceans of myself into loving and supporting my family; rivers and lakes into my art. A little trickle towards volunteering. Along my journey, I trip and stumble in puddles that were placed in my current and future path by hail storms from my past. I have a direction that I want to paddle in... but my arms are pretty tired.
The past few years, I've barely made a profit. Still, a positive number that increased a tiny bit year over year was heading in the right direction. I have been building an inventory and working towards a larger goal of tabling at events. My progress stalled this year. Plainly, costs on went up and sales went down.
I'm trying to get better about asking for support. I know that Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday, and Giving Tuesday have already lightened many wallets, but I'm hoping you still have some pocket change to help push some wind back in my sails. And of course I want to do it in a way that pays kindness forward.
This Sunday, I'll be live on Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube from 2pm-8pm for a community event I'm calling Holiday heARTwork. I'll be coloring my November and December free coloring pages live on stream. I invite you to print them out and color along. I'd love to see and share your creations! Additionally we'll listen to a reading of "A Christmas Carol" and have other small games and giveaways.
I'm also asking for your support and I'd love to spread a little extra cheer in the process.
