June 2024 Artventures

Let's take a look back at the art we created in June!

This month I did not create as much as I would have liked. My partner has been injured for much of this month, so I have been doing a lot more around the house while caring for my spouse. There's been much less time, energy, and spoons available this month.

This past month, I still managed to color a bunch more coloring pages! However most of them have not been publicly posted as they are for a special opportunity that I hope to be able to share more about very soon.

That said, this image was how I colored my free page for the month of June.

July's design is already available! Get the free printable here.

Please tag me on social media so I can see your completed creations!

I'll post my completed page for this month soon so follow me over on Facebook and Instagram to see it when it's done!

Here is one of those completed pages I was talking about that hasn't been publicly shared yet. The only other place I've posted this so far was over on Patreon.

Pst.... If you want even more coloring fun, the most recent book is only $11!

A big focus this past month was a drawing challenge called 'June Toon'. There is a prompt for each day of the month and you draw a cartoon from days gone by based on your interpretation of that prompts.

Since I do so much digital artwork, I try to do a few challenges a year like this on paper. With everything else that's been going on I was only able to complete 16 drawings out of 30. Although, I combined some prompts so I was able to cover 20 of the 30 prompts. Sometimes you just have to remove something from your plate.

It was also frustrating to try to compete some of these pieces as my markers were dying and artists quality markers are not cheap. I am proud of the drawings I did accomplish. Hexadecimal is a particular favorite!

All of these drawings are in the Treasure Chest and can be selected as a prize for giveaways. To be eligible for my monthly giveaway you have to either be on my Patron list or signed up for my monthly emails. I also occasionally have giveaways on my Twitch streams when goals are met.

Which one is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!

This one isn't an art that was created this month, but this month I donated some art things to a local pride celebration.

I wasn't able to attend the event but it seemed like everyone had fun and they were able to raise some funds and awareness for an important cause - The Trevor Project.

I haven't been able to donate or volunteer as much as I would like to lately so I'm happy I was able to contribute in a tiny way.

In addition to what I've shared, I again drew a number of thumbnails, drafts, and sketches for projects that are in the works.. (:

Anywho... Thank you for making it all the way to the end!

Please leave me a like or a comment so that I know you were here. I'd love to hear your thoughts on any of the art or words I've shared.

Thanks again for reading!

See you around the Internetlands soon!
